Long time since I’ve visited! I joined Higher kings in 2006 after being made redundant by St Regis/DSSmith. One single wire fourdrinier machine with size press making literally all the colours under the sun from black to white. Making for educational supplies, folders, soap wrap, wallpaper and suchlike to the UK and Europe. Almost all was recycled with very little virgin pulp used. Unusual in that the wetend is actually wider than the dryend after modifications stalled many years prior. Uses a krima unit rather than any deinking plant. Steam and screws to mash ink down. One reeler, two cutters. Sold in 2012 to a Malaysian company, Asia Files. Still running in 2023.
