About Barry Lloyd

I worked for what had just become Scapa-Porritt, based in Blackburn, between 1970 and 1979. Initially, I worked on what was known as the 'home trade' before moving on to the export side in the mid-1970s. My area on the home trade was Scotland and northern England. The south-east was covered from an office in Sevenoaks and I occasionally visited there. The remainder was covered by a colleague, so that the whole of the north, midlands and Scotland was covered by just two of us. The dividing line was the Midlands.
